West Derbyshire is the largest constituency in the county of Derbyshire.
It covers an area of 323 sq. miles, with a population of 93,950 (Derby Telegraph)
The main towns are Ashbourne, Belper, Matlock, Bakewell and Wirksworth.

There were 75,067 eligible voters and 50,589 (which is 67.4%) turned out.
